???I posted an article this morning that I am sure will be the cause of much controversy, and in fact already seems to be.
There seems to be much confusion about what the REAL name of God is and even the REAL name of Jesus. While I cherish all of God's names, and even appreciate these names in the original Hebrew language, much of what is going on right now seems to be bordering on idolatry.
People are becoming more concerned with what language they use to refer to God than allowing God to come in and cleanse their hearts.
It is a sign it seems to me of people slowly gravitating back to the law.
First, we have to use only Hebrew names, then we consider everything that is not Hebrew satanic, then we start picking and choosing what we consider "inspired" in God's word, then we start playing with the divinity of Jesus Christ, then we are talking about laws we need to keep in order to be received by God.
Let me say this. I love the Hebrew culture. I have visited Messianic Jewish temples for service. A large part of my personal music collection is Messianic worship. I pray for God's blessings upon Israel continually. BUT, we must be careful not to give things more preeminence that God demands.
Much of what is going on with this Hebrew Roots movement is similar to what the Roman Catholic Church does to Mary, the mother of Jesus. You make an idol out of something that should be respected, but not worshiped. I really see no difference.
We must let God Himself be the determinate for how we worship Him, and He is clear enough in His word.
I pray that you be on guard against deception in these last days, for it is strong....especially when it is masquerading as something holy.
If there are additional questions or comments about what was written, I am happy to address them if I can.
