What do you all think aobut women wearing makeup? I read recently that makeup, eye makeup in particular was onced used as a witchcraft tool. For example, when Jehu went to kill Jezebel she painted her eyes. I read that she did this to try and bewitch him or seduce him so that he wouldn't kill her. 2 Kings 9:30 Then Jehu went to Jezreel. When Jezebel heard about it, she painted her eyes, arranged her hair and looked out of a window. In a way, I guess, that is our goal today for wearing eyeshadow and lipstick...to draw attention and make men become aware of our faces/beauty/sexuality...maybe? What are your thougts?

I think make-up is just fine. It is kind of like the video we were discussing about License, Legalism, and Liberty.
Legalism would say that you should not wear make-up so that you do not sin. But liberty says that you are free to wear make-up, just don't sin while wearing it.
It is not the outward things which cause one to sin, but the inward workings of the heart which need to be changed.
Jezebel's problem was that she was a witch and a whore. The dressing up of her eyes to seduce Jehu was just the outward manifestation of what was in her heart.
