My name is Neal Chester (b.k.a. Nealreal).
I am a Detroiter, a web developer, entrepreneur, and a man who has a passion to be like Jesus. My ultimate mission is to please God according to his biblical standards outlined in the Word of God.
I became a Christian at the age of 22. After five years of church membership (across three churches and denominations), regular attendance, and serving in various ministries, I couldn’t stand church anymore – it was eating away at my soul and blocking my spiritual growth. In hindsight, God had been telling me to leave, so I finally got the message and left.
I realized that my pastors, fellow Christians, and I had it all wrong: we didn’t have faith in God, we were not upholding righteousness, we were not growing, we didn’t follow the Bible, we were deceived and delusional, we didn’t love God (or each other), and we didn’t look anything like Jesus Christ. Terribly, we had no respect for God.
The Lord showed me the problem and gave me a solution through a book I wrote called: The Misunderstanding of Faith in Jesus Christ. The book is free to read online right now. This book and website was created because I want to see Christians become successful by having proper faith, love and respect for God; according to his standards and not our own.
As we come together and study the word, and apply it, we will be successful in this life and in the next life to come because we will please God.
