The following info is taken from their site.
If you are new to this site, it may seem a bit overwhelming at first. You may be wondering, "What is this site all about anyway?" Well, it is really very simple. Lighthouse Trails Research exposes a spirituality often referred to as contemplative spirituality or spiritual formation. This belief system has embedded itself into Christianity has a foundation and premise (also called Spiritual Formation by many) that is New Age.
It comes through various avenues including Purpose Driven and the Emerging Church, introducing multitudes of people and churches to meditative practices that do not originate from the Bible and draws practitioners away from the original intent of Christianity (i.e., to evangelize the world) and leads toward an interspiritual view of God (i.e., all religions lead to God's salvation).
This site is our attempt to warn others about it. We do this because we love the Lord and His gospel message, and we care about people.
A Great Falling Away?
While it may look to some that we are just being divisive and are name callers, if you carefully study what we have to say, we think you will see the overall big picture of what is happening in Christianity today and agree with us that as believers we have a responsibility to warn of impending danger. We believe we could possibly be witnessing the great falling away of which Scripture speaks.
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons." (I Timothy 4:1)
"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." II Thessalonians 2:1-4
