This is what many churches have started or strive to become.

Mia, this is funny. But tis true....I remember I visited a church (I don't remember where it was) but just before altar call they started playing nice soft music and dimmed the lights. I was like, oh so we're into romancing the people now? Craziness.

I can relate to this video since many of the churches here in Melbourne Australia are this way. Spend more than 10mins past the time the service is supposed to end and you hear groans all over the church cos that lunch or ball game after service is more important than worshipping Christ. No hunger or zeal for the Spirit of God.

LOL! Romancing the people! That is rather fitting actually.
I think that is really what is going on. People are so conditioned to be entertained, that many are trying to use entertainment as a means of attracting people to the Gospel. But there is something to be said for quiet moments before the Lord. In fact, Scriptures says the preaching of the Gospel is the power of God for them that are saved. But people no longer have the mind-set to listen and meditate on the Gospel, just as Jesus Servant said.
There is always some new thing in the churchworld as people try to find ways to stimulate people. Yet in the end, such is a disservice because it lacks the true power of God to bring people into relationship with Him. In an effort to be "relevant", we deprive the gospel of its power.
