I've read it more times than I can count. I understand some things but many things elude me.
I've prayed for understanding. I don't even listen to or read anymore interpretations by others because there are so many different views.
Everyone can't be right. How can one person see the saints taken before the tribulation and someone else see us taken at 3.5 yrs and then another see us taken at 7 yrs.
1 Corinthians 15:52 (King James Version) 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed
Is this the same trumpet as trumpet number 7 in Revelation?
Do the seals, trumps, and vials (bowls) correspond to one another? (seal 1=trumpet 1=vial 1 etc.)
Should I even be concerned with the order of events?

Hey newstart the best thing to do is just be ready to suffer persecution and die for the name of Christ, if it doesn't pan out that way what have you got to loose, but if you are not prepared to suffer and real tribulation and suffering occurs you'll be very sorry. I pesonally lean toward a mid-tribulation rapture, but I can accept the post-tribulation scenario. A pre-tribulation rapture is detrimental to believe as far as I can tell because we must go forth in austere circumstances to preach the gospel while encountering tremendous hatred. When the gospel is preached with signs and wonders accompanying it, Satan responds violently and martyrdom and severe persecution will strike up again. This will finally seperate the wheat from the tares and the pseudo-christians from the authentic ones. I believe things are about to jump off, so get ready!! gcp

Yes, being prepared is the main thing. The thing that I've learned over the last few months is that allowing God to purge me is not easy....it can be painful and lonely! But I must keep going until He's ready to fully use me!
I do wonder, however about the following:
Is Revelation 14 describing the rapture or just a seperation of the true church from the false? Or are these one and the same?
I notice here in Matthew that the tares are taken away from the wheat and burned...not the wheat taken away from the tares:
29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
