Has anyone heard of the supposed phenom called bi-location? I was viewing a youtube video about a guy who claims this phenom.
What they say is that they are in one location, and that people testify that they encountered them in another location. Of course we know that only God is omni-present, so I completely believe that it is really a demon masquerading as the person. Not to mention that it is not Biblical.
If you have heard of this, do you know where this started and where it came from? The person of subject is a false teacher along the lines of Todd Bently (don't know if they are affiliated), but I can't remember his name.

Hi Trayjay,
I haven't heard of that one. Is it anything like soul travel? That is definitely demonic.

The guy's name is John Crowder. He is so blasphemous till it amazes me that he doesn't just drop where he stands.
He teaches things that I don't even want to mention. I really didn't even want to give his name out and HIGHLY recommend that people do not even bother to watch videos about him. It gives me a whole new perspective about just how patient God is. Based on his testimony, he has blasphemed the Holy Spirit, which is unforgivable. (Mark 3:28-29) What's sad is the number of people who would sit in front of him and receive such nonsense. This is the kind of deception where the Bible says they wouldn't be deceived without their consent. (Jeremiah 14:14-16)
Bi-location is clearly demonic. I just was wondering where this came from and how it started.

I agree with you about not even wanting to mention his name (although I have not heard of him), but some things also need to be said. There is a Christian "mysticism" movement that is being promoted amongst the churchworld which is nothing more than witchcraft and sorcery.
People are so anxious for "signs" that they are willing to believe anything and are falling for false signs and wonders as they seek entertainment to replace sound Bible doctrine and true life in the Spirit.
Someone here recently shared with me a video from Patricia King on the same topic as she spoke on the "mystic anointing". And indeed, those who follow these teachings become "mystical" themselves as they are caught up in these false prophets.
These people are even teaching how relating to Jesus is like doing drugs. They teach how to take "totes" of the Holy Ghost, "snort" Scripture, and get spiritually "drunk". Believe me, it sounds even too ridiculous for me to type here, yet it is true.
During the last days, God says that we need to be sober, watchful, diligent for maintaining soundness of doctrine. Yet very few are doing this.
I am sure that we will only continue to see an increase in these false supernatural demonstrations until the real power of God comes forth through those who have given their lives to Him and contended for the faith. Then, just like Elijah facing the prophets of Baal, the people will have to make a choice.

trayjay I have heard of this young man and am UTTERLY APPALLED by his teachings. Get this, his ministry is calles (you ready for this) THE NEW MYSTICS.
Honestly I cannot wait for God to put an end to this mess because I have had it.....I have had. I was speaking with my husband last night and was telling him that I have about reached my breaking point of over exposure in all of this. All I can say is we have to really cling to Christ....As Paul tell the body of believers in Colossae in Colossians 3...Christ is all and in all. I like how the New Living Translation says...Christ is all that matters!

LDM - that "toke the ghost" thing is from this Crowder guy - and he is "approved" by Patricia King. All the stuff you mentioned about that is what I heard him say.
tikastar - I am with you. I find myself getting downright angry about this stuff. While I am grateful for God's patience, I sometimes wish He would remover theses Holy Spirit blasphemers. He has His reasons for how He does things and I don't dare buck His system, but it does feel like it is more than I can take.
All I can say is, what's next and how do we prepare others for it. Realizing that in accordance to Scripture, most are going to fall for this "New" stuff and parish eternally, but you still wish you could just scoop them up and make them see.
This stuff is running rampant in the land and yet the churches are barely scraping the surface of the surface - We are so uneducated while there is so much information out there by sound doctrinal people that is angers me when people go out and buy DVDs by Tyler Perry but want to borrow my Christian DVDs. When you read the Scripture that says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, its not talking about them just not knowing; it's talking about them refusing to do what they already knew was right. They lacked knowledge because they chose to gratify their own desires instead of the desires of God.
When we have an interest in something, we invest in it. People spend thousands of dollars to get a degree so that they can get good-paying jobs (nothing wrong with that), but want to borrow when it comes to learning about the Lord and becoming wise about the plans of the enemy.
I had an elder at my church tell people that God told her to watch (all 3) Lord of the Rings so that He could teach her covenant. LOL My question was, why would God do that when He could have told you "Go and ask Tracy if you can "borrow" the movie Abraham, or Joseph," or a number of videos/DVDs that I have that would teach her about covenant? The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would have never told her that. Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. This person is the minister of education at that church. What a shame. This same minister began teaching visualization techniques. Lays hands on people to prophecy. My question is, if you are doing visualization techniques at home (this connects you with a spirit guide - but I don't think she realizes this) to the degree that you are being tricked into believing that the Lord (the Holy God) would direct you to the Lord of the Rings, then when you are prophesying, who are you hearing from?
My God, this stuff ain't no joke. The devil has been serious about his work. I wish the Church would become so serious.
Thanks for sites and bloggers like this one. It is for me another safe place of refuge.
Pray for me - I haven't been a part of a church for more than 2 years and I feel the Lord is telling me to go back to that one. Believe me, I ain't budging till I know it's Him, but I don't want to creep into disobedience, either. Thanks.

Tote...toke...I can't even spell it. LOL Shows how out of touch I am with it all. But either way, it is all horrible, the way they continue to make a mockery of God while pretending to serve Him. The one thing I think about is that if it frustrates us like that, imagine how God feels about it? Wow! You have said a mouthful with that statement. Serving the Lord in Spirit and Truth is just not a priority for many people. It IS time for the church to get serious and buckle down before God with Him alone until He transforms us into the image of Christ. I find myself cutting back from many things about now just to focus in more closely on the Lord. Trayjay, when I say buckle down with Christ alone, I am not speaking of a lack of fellowship with other believers. I am speaking of making such a priority and the center of our lives. Certainly fellowship with others of a like precious faith is part of that. I also think that God is changing our perspective of what "fellowship" really is...at least I know He has for me. He is removing the trappings of what religion has put forth as "church" to reveal the Spirit-led unity that comes from being born again in God. In the past year, I have found that God has led me to fellowship with others virtually whom I have never met personally, but whom I still know by the Spirit of the Lord. As Tikastar says, Christ IS all that matters!!!!

Someone in another internet forum sent me to a page about the "Sons of Thunder" (apparently what Crowder calls his ministry) and their "school of mystics" which trains people around the country to partake in their antics. I'll spare you a link to the page, but the text describing these schools says the following: Our Mystical School is an intensive, three-day course with in-depth instruction, activation and hands-on impartation with John Crowder. These deeper courses in contemplative, supernatural Christianity are geared for a smaller group environment, with limited registration, to foster an atmosphere of intimacy, personal prophecy and vigorous impartation. There will be ample time for questions and answers, with sessions running 6-8 hours each day and mornings free for prayer, soaking and reflection. In these courses you will:
- Operate in Trances, Raptures & Ecstatic Prayer
- Experience Physical Phenomena of Mysticism
- Get Activated in Creative Miracles, Signs & Wonders
- Understand & Access New Creation Realities
- Gain A Historical Grid of Miracle Workers & Mystics
- Be Activated in the Seer Realm, Prophecy, Spirit Travel
- Receive Open Heavens & Revelatory Understanding
- Access and Manifest the Glory Realm
[/blockquote] Trances? Raptures? Ecstatic prayers? Mysticism? New Creation Realities? Seer Realm? Spirit Travel? Open Heavens? Glory Realm? These are BIG red flags. How can something be a "Christian" conference and not even one topic addresses the Lord Jesus Christ? Worse, every topic offered is a new age concept that has no basis in Scripture? One thing I heard before is that chaff is much lighter than wheat. Historically, when the wheat would be separated from the chaff, a disturbance would be caused so that both would be tossed in the air. The wind would then blow away the lighter chaff and the wheat would settle back down to the ground. This is the picture that comes to mind when I think people being blown away by every wind of doctrine. Yes, I pray for those who are deceived, but I also pray for those who remain to be strong in the faith and clinging only to the Lord of Glory.
