I wondered if we could be in remembrance of our young people this year as we are seeking God's face and raising our petitions to Him. The enemy has continued to launch a full-fledged attack against the younger generations from drugs, to sex, to music, to new age mindsets, etc.
Please pray against this onslaught, that they may come to know God personally and be strengthened in Him against these devices.

At Georgia College and State University, in Atlanta, Ga, they have upcoming freshmen reading Reasons to Believe: One Man's Journey Among the Evangelicals and the Faith He Left Behind, by John Marks (former 60 Min. producer).
It just seems wrong that they would have them reading this...

I haven't even heard of the book or author, but the title sounds telling.
Right here in the Bible Belt is an open, growing attack on God under the guise of "education".
I really believe that education is revealing itself more and more as a tool of satanic indoctrination and not intellectual development. Our children must be kept in prayer so as not to be brainwashed and destroyed by these assaults.

Yes
Just look at the fiction that they are reading. Years ago when I was a teen there was no huge Young Adult market for books. Now this genre has exploded. And the children are reading things like Twilight and Harry Potter and all these Fantasy, Witchcraft books. Parents and teachers think it is great because the children are reading but no one cares to examine the content. And I'm not so sure about the Japanese Anime (Manga) books but they are VERY popular and something just seems odd about these comic books.
The education system here is really a joke...we have got to pray and stay on top of what our children are being exposed to. My 10 year old nephew has learned about wet dreams in his health class. I'm just amazed...even though I shouldn't be.
And what about when your child's guidance counselor is gay? Or the teachers play rap music as part of their lessons? Or when they show Harry Potter for a Fun-Day movie? Or they use secular music to hype the children during pep rallies or fund raising assemblies? Or the sex education class wants to teach that homosexuality is not a choice? Trust me I've seen MOST of this in the schools.
Yes, we had better pray!
