In relation to this series, we have been asked the following:
"Are you saying that we should be fooled by everyone that tries to usher in the manifest presence of the Lord?"
I must admit to not being entirely clear about what is meant by this question. There are people who are speaking of gold dust, golden teeth, gemstones, angelic visitations, angel "orbs", angel "feathers", etc. Is this what is meant?
I sometimes think that people forget Scriptures speak of lieing signs and wonders which will be performed by satan to deceive the elect (Matthew 24:24). Just because something supernatural appears to happen doesn't mean that it is of the Lord (II Thessalonians 2:9).
Even more, do folks not realize that satan IS a fallen angel whose can transform himself into an angel of light? Where in the Scriptures are we told to seek angelic visitations and communion with angels?
Yes, I do believe in the manifest presence of the Lord in terms of God's ability to make Himself known in tangible, visible ways to His people. However, I also believe that many are "ushering in" demonic practices and doctrines, trying to cover them under a "spiritual move of God" deception. Scripture says we are to test the spirits.
Much of what is being presented in the churchworld, including by individuals featured in the Priestcraft videos, are promoting spiritual experiences that are unbiblical and/or steeped in witchcraft.
There are certain things we can use to see whether a supernatural event is of the Lord:
I believe in signs and wonders and know that God will bring these things to pass, especially as we get closer to Jesus' return. However, we must also be careful not to make "seeking a sign" or supernatural experience our priority with God (Matthew 12:39).

There are certain things we can use to see whether a supernatural event is of the Lord:
- Examine the Scriptures to see if there is precedent for such a manifestation.
- Examine the doctrine coming forth from the vessel "ushering in" the manifestation to see if the doctrine is sound. God will never sign off on that which is error.
- Ask the Lord for discernment to understand the spirit behind the manifestations you see.
