I didn't personally know much about Oral Roberts except that his influence on modern Christianity was significant. The following article however provides an interesting perspective of his contributions. www.gty.org/Blog/B091218We can all go at any time. May we each be ready spiritually at that appointed time and leave a legacy that glorifies Christ.

I watched in amaizement as the "christian" world mourned the passing of Oral Roberts. The church is so deceived by this feel good gospel that has infected our pulpits. I was one of many believers deceived by this message of seeding or word faith. God has opened my eyes to his true gospel. He is showing me daily what he means by prosperity. We need to continue to shed light on the deceptions of the enemy.

The "Christian" world would mourn Satan if he lived in time and could die a natural death, and did so.
All of this, "Christ's sacrifice made me a god, so I get anything I want, and do what I want!" movement originated with Oral Roberts.
A bad tree cannot produce good fruits (Matthew 7:18, Luke 6:43).

The "Christian" world mourn Satan if he lived in time and could die a natural death, and did so. This is SO true! What a horrible indictment of the world.
