Psalm 55:22
22Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved
How does one do this?

Hmmmm...I think at its heart it means trusting the Lord to work out those things that burden us. If someone else assumes responsibility for something in your life, then you no longer bear the burden of that thing.
Do we really believe that God will make a way out of no way? Do we trust Him to be our deliverer and our healer? Do we honestly have faith that He is working all things our for our good?
If we do, then our burdens will always be "light" in Him because He carries the brunt of the responsibility to resolve the burden.
"For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. " Matthew 11:30
Casting our burdens unto the Lord is also synonymous with finding rest in Him. We are no longer to live for ourselves for our lives are not our own. It is Christ that is living through us. Therefore, we are not trusting God to bear burdens we have created, but to bear the burden of His own work, which He is faithful to complete. We can rest (or cast our burdens on Him) because it is His work being done in and through us - by Him.
