I was wondering if you could look into a lady by the name of Cindy Trimm. She calls herself a prophetess and many in the faith look up to her for being a powerful intercessor. One of the videos I watched was on you tube called Women on the Frontline. Particulary video 7 and 8 were very disturbing for me and I just wanted to see if you could put something together.

I watched a small portion of a segment and I was immediately turned off. Money money money harvest seed reap money harvest. In my opinion, this kind of message is Satan's trick for people who are struggling financially or do not study the Word for themselves. All of God's blessings are not monetary! Some financial struggles are because of our own lack of self-control and will not be remedied by writing a check to a church. And how many women in that audience need spiritual/demonic deliverance and freedom more than they need God to send them a financial blessing? Plus she is linked up with Juanita Bynum? I'm sure LDM will have more insight. On a side note: There sure are a lot of prophetesses on youtube

What you say is so right. Hopefully LDM can put something together regarding this lady because she is becoming big in the body of Christ. Her book called RUles of Engagement is about spiritual warfare and so many people want to battle the enemy for financial prosperity. However so many are being duped in giving their money and not getting anything back and that's because the seed is not money and the good ground has nothing to do with ministries, and harvest is not the return you get on your money. The seed is the word of God sown in good ground which is a heart that has been plowed, (hard ground broken up)and is fertile to receive the word of God, it is this ground that a harvest can be received as much fruit will bear and others will be fed and nourished by the word which is truth. It is truth that sets the captives free not financial prosperity! Hopefully LDM can put something together after watching this video. Also every one in the church was supposedly slain in the spirit and everyone fell but the brainwashing tactics used was really hard for me to watch because people are truly being decieved and that bothers me.

I will prayerfully consider this request as, before two days ago, I hadn't heard of the woman. Someone actually sent me one of these "Women on the Frontline" videos at that time where Ms. Trimm was speaking of how the church is the educational institution for the world. One thing I immediately didn't like about the woman's approach (I believe she may even go by the title of "Dr.") is that she tried very hard to sound wise. What I mean by that is that she used a lot of big words and lofty concepts to explain what she was saying. This came across as someone trying to make themselves out to be something. I mean, if Jesus could use plainness of speech, why can't she? Again, I didn't watch the whole video and that was the first I had heard of her, but it just immediately turned me off. If I have to have a degree to understand what you are saying, then that is not the Gospel. I will take another look at this woman, but based on Newstart's feedback, I have a feeling my first impressions were on target.

Someone gave me one of the videos for the women on the frontline with Cindy Trimm. I thought it sounded familiar but I watched anyway. Utterly confused...some of the things that she said were as follows:
You cannot engage properly in Spiritual Warfare unless you know that: - Everything in the universe works by rank and order - There is Spiritual protocol that must be understood before engaging in Spiritual Warfare - High ranking principalities cannot attack low ranking human beings - People that are of a high rank (in the Spirit) cannot afford to mingle with everybody - The purpose of the Church is to bring God's official authority to the earth. He chose us so that He could have legal access to the earth realm - The Church has dominion over all dimensions except the dimension where God dwells but we bind and loose things on earth that God will uphold in His dimension - We have authority in the dimension where the angels dwell and can command angels to deliver healing, anointing, etc.
There was a lot, I mean a LOT, of other things that she spoke about as it was an hour long video.
Ms. Bynum proceeded after the teaching admonishing everyone to begin loosing and binding some things right now because she felt in the atmosphere that there was an open portal from God's dimension to our dimension and that everyone would be able to bind and loose and get immediate answers or results.
I offer no opinion here. I am just restating what I heard. However, LDM is correct in saying that she has a VERY intellectual approach to her teaching. I have a college degree and had a hard time understanding some of the concepts that she was explaining.
I admit I do not know much (if anything at all) about how things work in Spiritual realm or other dimensions so either I have a WHOLE LOT to learn or this is false teaching.

Tikastar, those teachings are FALSE! and like LDM said, a DAMNABLE HERESY! All that stuff sounds good to a person who doesn't know the LORD. Doesn't read the Bible. Lead by false profits. Haven't developed an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. And, to sum it all up... LOST!
For those of us who are rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7). Have an intimate relationship with GOD. And, Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). We should be able to smell these false doctrines from many miles away.
From reading my Bible thus far, I have not came across any accounts of any of those things she has mentioned from the quotes you gathered Tikastar.

Is she blessing them or cursing them? LOL I found the video disturbing and scary.... Did you see how all those people just fell out? And then, How are you going to tell someone they are going to receive a blessing right then and there? You don't know what GOD has in store for people.... she is making huge accusations.... There are just too many No's present here lol.

Hello Paul,
Attacking Cindy Trimm? I don't know why you would have such an impression, but this discussion has certainly evaluated whether her teachings are Biblical. You will also find numerous places in Scripture where false teachers were called out and identified as such so that others would not be deceived.
Even Satan used Scripture when he was tempting Jesus in the wilderness, but he perverted and twisted its meaning in order to further his own selfish goals. Someone must do more than "provide Scripture" in teaching, but must present the truths of God as revealed by His Spirit. No Scripture is of any private interpretation.
Just a few areas where Cindy Trimm's teachings are in error are: Kingdom Now or Dominion Theology; Word of Faith "name it and claim it" deceptions; False prosperity gospel that equates gain with godliness, from which God says we should turn away.
If there is something you have questions about regarding her teachings, feel free to post and I am sure others will provide feedback. However, my purpose here is not to "disprove" what Cindy Trimm says, but to uphold the truths of the Scripture.
What Cindy Trimm (or anyone else) says in the long run has no significance whatsoever. The only thing that matters is what God says. Yes, God can certainly speak through His people (and He often does), but let us all remember that HE is the standard and not the personalities of men (or women).

Paul I understand your concern but I can assure you that my motive is not to attack Ms. Trimm. Some people have introduced me to her teachings through a DVD that thy insisted I watched and off the bat I was concerned that what she was teaching was not very sound in the Scripture. What she says sounds convincing and spiritual. I am most concerned because people flock to teachings of this nature and to certain personalites without testing them.
If you were offended in any way by anything that I have said please do forgive me but I encourage you to seek the Lord concerning her teachings and any like them so as to see what the Word of the Lord is concerning them (the teachings).
If the Lord speaks something to you that you feel will help our understanding concerning this topic (namely the teachings of Ms. Trimm) please do share because I seek to know the truth as found in God's Word and revealed by His Spirit.
God Bless you brother.

Hi Paul, There is a difference between "attacking a Christian" and exposing deception. Every Christian is commanded by God to test all things and only hold to that which is true. To fail to examine the teachings of those who proclaim to speak for God will simply lead to deception. No, God does not call for correction of only those who instruct others to pray in their name. You may want to study what the Scriptures have to say about false prophets. This web page lists Scriptures which deal with false prophets: how to identify them, why they do what they do, and how God's people should handle them: biblelight.net/false-prophets.htmBefore one can "touch God's anointed", the object of the discussion must actually be one of God's anointed. No one who perverts God's word and prophecies lies is one of His anointed. You should know that satan also has his anointed which appear as angels of light preaching another Jesus, carrying another spirit, and teaching another gospel (II Cor. 11:4). I have given you several examples of the false doctrines that Cindy Trimm is preaching. These things are not in line with the word of God. Godly love is doing the will of God. When Jesus chased out the money changers from the temple, THAT was love. When Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites who cannot escape the damnation of Hell, THAT was love. When Jesus called the Canaanite woman a dog, THAT was love. I mention those Scriptures simply to show that God's idea of love is not the same as man's. Everything Jesus did was in love. His ways are higher than our own. Whenever we obey God, we are demonstrating love, even if if doesn't feel that way to the flesh. This page about why God commands us to judge error may also be helpful to you: thelatterdays.blogspot.com/2009/05/do-not-judge-part-6.htmlLastly, I would offer, forget about personalities of people - whether you think they are right or wrong - and seek to be filled with the Spirit of God. There is much deception in the churchworld and a failure to be grounded first in the word of God will leave you susceptible to that which is false. Simply seek the Lord, study His word, and pray to be led of Him in all things.
