We are not the "Latter Day Saints" or Mormons. The ministry is called Latter Days because we are in the latter days. This message board was created in response to requests from visitors to our blog: The Latter Days Ministry at http://thelatterdays.blogspot.com.
The Latter Days is a Christian ministry dedicated to preparing God's people for the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to sound the trumpet and call the Bride into preparations for the end times which are at hand.

Whose Report Will You Believe?

"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" Isaiah 53:1

"That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? " John 12:38

"But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" Romans 10:16

Belief in God is measured by your understanding being in accordance to His Word. If your "beliefs" don't line up with His words, then your belief is in vain.

So many Christians are creating their own "Jesus" (or what the Scriptures call "another Jesus" in II Corinthians 11:4). This Jesus completely ignores sin. This Jesus accepts all, including those who say He doesn't exist and curse His name. This Jesus is not a Savior, He is simply a consciousness that we can all achieve. This Jesus was sent to make you rich in material wealth. This Jesus loves the world and enjoys the things in the world. The list could go on and on.

But the Scriptures say, "Who has believed our report?" God has sent His words to communicate to His people, but who has believed it? Who has believed what God Himself has said about who He is and how He interacts with us?

Do we believe the report of the Lord? Or do we have our own report based on our own version of God?

Notice also that believing God's report is considered synonymous with obedience. According to Romans 10:16, people do not obey the Gospel message because they have not believed. So what does that mean if we call ourselves believers and disobey what God says?

Don't water down God's truth. Don't beat people over the head with it,

but don't disregard it either. It is the power of God to change us into who He has created us to be and to equip us as we minister to others.

"Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report:

As deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. " II Corinthians 6:3-10
